Werde Baumblutenfest fruit wine tour 2025

The Werde Baumblutenfest is a celebration of the fruit wine culture of the Werde region. Many vineyards in the area are open to visitors, where we can sit and eat yummy food and drink fruit wine amongst the trees. There's a short walk between each vineyard. Werder is within the C zone, so if you have an ABC ticket then you are good to travel all the way there and back.

We can take the RE1 train, which arrives in Werde at 12:00 and leaves at the following times:

From the Werde train station, we can walk to the vineyards (~5 km).

There is an official Baumblutenfest bus which leaves from the Werde train station every 20 mins. It costs €10 for the day and may be useful for anyone needing to return home earlier.

Two people (Madhvi and Craig so far) are riding there on bikes and will meet us at the train station in Werde at 12:00.

Hayley, Julia and Nadja need to be back in town in the evening, so may leave earlier.
